let down
Well other than that I had a pretty good day. Switch-a-roo of the managers at FedEx though, not a bad thing. Just went from having one manager I liked to having another manager that seems cool and likeable as well. So no big deal really, same thing mostly.
At my other job though, it was pretty boring. I was in the "other office" this morning, doing work that is pretty boring I must say. I don't mind really, its just about like everything else I do there. Stuff nobody else really wants to do. It really doesn't bother me, I like doing a variety of things so its just something else.
Other than that, I'm thinking of chopping my hair. Maybe taking like 6 inches off or so. That would make it to brushing my shoulders length I think. I am contemplating it. hmmmm. We'll see.
And the best news of today, most likely, is when I found a quarter in the parking lot on my way to work at FedEx. That's always sweet. Just think of it my way, its like 25 times better than finding a penny!! Or like finding half a Twins ticket, if you're lucky like me and get a ticket for 50 cents!!!
Well other than that, I think I am going to wrap this up right here right now. Keep waiting for a good one! :)

boring.
But on to other things, today was a pretty neutral day. I thought it was going to be really rough, mainly because its Monday, I tend to hate Mondays, but it really wasn't bad afterall. I just am starting to feel like one of Santa's elves, or maybe Santa due to my size, because of the rush starting to pick up at FedEx. hahaha. But seriously. At my other job it was not too exciting, but just an easy day of small tasks. I liked it.
What I really must say, is how yesterday I went to the Twins last regular season home game of the season and I paid only FIFTY CENTS for my ticket!!! It was pretty awesome. The guy at the ticket booth wouldn't stop laughing. Oh well, I thought it was freaking awesome! Well they won. But in other Twins news, they have to play a tie-breaking game vs the White Sox tomorrow in Chicago to determine the AL Central Division Champions. IT BETTER BE THE TWINS. That's all I have to say!! hahahaha.
Well I hope some exciting things come up tomorrow. But I also hope its a manageable and fun day again. :)

And I think that is enough! Hopefully you have loved finding out a few things I like and don't like. It would take too long for me to explain everything, but I could do that. Most of my points are valid, I have reasons for why I like and don't like things, I do a lot of thinking before I decide on anything. Really I am an analytical person, sometimes that sucks, but most of the time its very good! Welp until next time!! :)

down 6
At Dakota Premium I am working on a big project, huge actually, I am updating all the MSDS books. They are rusty and old and gross, but they will look gorgeous by the time I am done with them. Might take a lot of time though, we will see!
Then I was still feeling a little tired and slow while on my way to FedEx. Neither of those are what you want to be when going in to work there. It is not part of the PURPLE PROMISE. hahaha. So anyhow, to fix this problem, I stopped and got a big Red Bull and drank it as fast as I could. It was delicious and it sure proved to do the trick. I had a good day at FedEx and never felt too overwhelmed or stressed. It was nice.
Towards the end of the shift at FedEx, it began to rain. It really poured. So, that made for a bad traffic flow on my way home, but I made it through. I stopped and went tanning, that was relaxing, but I do think I better take tomorrow off from it. After I got home, I made some deviled eggs that were DELICIOUS! And that brings us to now, I am watching the Twins really play like they want the win! Its surprising, they haven't been playing to win as of late, but tonight its really showing! They will hopefully take all three games of the series and end up in the post-season. I sure wish that. We'll see.
And I think that is the perfect place to conclude, maybe another load of pictures will be delivered within the next couple. I love doing those. Keep your fingers crossed for that! :)

picture blog!!
My friend Melissa and I had a wild day on the lake and playing with the cows at her parents house; Summer 2007.The one to the right is of me, Johanna, and my former boss (in that order). It was taken last February during the CSS (where I used to work, dept of the UI Hospital) Bar Crawl. That was fun, then freezing rain came down, made for an interesting walk back to Johanna's later that night, then I was stranded in Iowa City for an extra night, definitely not a bad thing!!!
The picture below is of me in November 2006, at a MN Timberwolves game. I won the chance to go down on the court and play a game called "Crunch or No Crunch." It was SOOOO much fun! I ended up winning a $100 speaker set for ipod/mp3/cell phone, and a $100 gift card to Verizon. Plus that huge shirt that I am wearing in the shirt, and of course, the memories. hahaha.

The next picture was taken this past July (2008). I am kind of looking torn up, I had just got out of the shower. But it was one of the last days that my younger sister, Kristina, and her baby boy, Jeff, were up here in Minnesota. I had such a blast while they were here, I love my nephew, he is a good baby and quite funny. We had a good time.
This next one is, from Left to Right: Abby, Me, Johanna, and Annie. We went out one night in April 2007 and had a great time. It was really random and crazy, but turned out being a very fun and memorable night. Those girls are so fun! I think it was also my first time to the bar The Summit (in Iowa City), it definitely doesn't make my top Iowa City bar list, but then if you know the Iowa City bar scene you understand completely why I say that. There are so many others to love, so many others that are way more fun, and so many others with a better crowd in them! anyway...

And this last one, it is kind of silly. I was wearing my huge Ugg coat to class on a verrrry cold day a couple years ago and decided I should probably take a fun picture with my scarf and sunglasses, just killing time. Its not something I usually do, but of course look at the results! hahahaha im kidding!! "I don't want no trouble" (Thats what I think the title of this picture is most accurately called).

delicious
So, Friday at work was out of control, at both jobs. At Dakota Premium, the phones were ringing off the hook, so many people were busy doing so many things, it was nuts. But not for me so much as everyone else. Then when I got to FedEx, we were short on people and we were getting dumped on. A lot of packages, but we made it through. I am sure I will be begging for a day like that when Christmas package times roll around, YIKES. hehehe.
Saturday was a lot of fun. I went into work for a little while, served some lunch to people. I was doing the jello and the cake, how nice of me. It was simple, but very sweaty. After work my dad and I headed up to Brainerd, MN. It was kind of a dead town, but very nice, the lake fronts up there are beautiful. I had an enjoyable time.
Today was awesome, for a couple of reasons. First of all, I FINALLY went and signed up for some tanning!! Wooo!!! That really made me happy. It will be great, I am pretty excited about it, and the place I go is pretty awesome. After that watched a little tv, caught up with my friend Melissa on the phone, and then my dad and I went to Outback Steakhouse for a nice lunch. It was pretty delicious. After that I had to take a nice nap! That was great.
Overall a pretty relaxing and easy-going weekend I guess. I like weekends like that sometimes. Other times I like being on the go and doing fun and wild things all weekend long though. Next weekend should be pretty fun. I think we will be catching one of the final games of the baseball season (unless Twins go to playoffs, don't laugh too hard right now), if we can, and then a nice fun party at the plant manager of Dakota Premium. It will be a good time!
Well I think I am going to plan my Monday to work in a lunch at, my favorite, Chipotle! It will be awesome, very delicious. I love Chipotle so much. I even went to the original Chipotle, located in Denver, CO on Colfax Ave. I have a picture of it, just like every Chipotle supposedly has a picture of that Chipotle. The Mall of America did not appear to have one of it though, so I label that as a feaux-Chipotle, but maybe they just hadn't got around to hanging it yet. At least that is what I hope!!
And I think this post is long enough! I hope a lot of exciting things happen this week, but no pants ripping at work I hope.

history
So today was not too hard after all I guess, it was at FedEx though. I was in a truck that was going to Montana and that sort of area (WA, OR, ID) AND it got so busy! I worked my tail off. That's what made today hard. But I made it through. Also, I had Cold Stone for dinner. What a way to top off the day! I enjoyed more than any normal person ever should have, hahaha.
Anyhow, only ONE more week until NEW EPISODES OF THE OFFICE!!!! I cannot even wait, its going to be great. It is obviously the greatest show on television, seriously. I laugh out loud every single episode, that is how great it is.
So fun stories for today.... Well this guy I saw at FedEx was wearing this t-shirt that I love, I have been dying to find where to buy one. What is so cool about it, is on the back it says: "you bet your spam I'm a gophers fan." HAAHAHA. What gets better than that?!? I think only Cold Stone dinner can. hahaha.
The next fun story is how I saw a Porsche Cayenne driving down the road on my way home from work today. That was awesome. Only because it is my ultimate dream car. I will own one someday, do or die. Sounds pretty serious right?? Well it is!!! When you sit in one, you will then understand, because it really fit me like a glove and was a great experience, which means any other cool person would experience the same thing. Obviously.
On with more fun stories, I have probably 37 bruises on my legs from working so hard. It is that tough of job. Things fall on my legs all the time I guess. I don't really know, but that is what I would assume. I don't tend to realize them when they happen, I just notice them later. Which, brings me to another point, I have got to get on to the tanning thing!! That will make them less noticeable perhaps. Either way I will look better, I can seriously use all the help I can get. Hahahah.
Well probably the most fun story of the day, I went on the new 35W bridge!!! It is so new, that today is the day it opened. Think of how lucky I am to be able to say I was on the bridge the day it opened! Pretty dang lucky I guess. Well I tend to think so, I liked it, although-yes it was a little frightening just because. Hahahahah. Well not really, but I like saying it. Ironic thing is, I know a girl who had 2 family members die in the collapse of that bridge last year. Spooky. She is one of the nicest girls I have ever met, she also has a cute little baby boy.
I am thinking I need to do something fun with my hair. I have no idea for sure what I want to do, but certainly I want to do something. I still love the dark brown thing I've got going on right now though, I just need to add some zest to it or something.
Welp, I think I have given enough to think about, to entertain, and to create laughs. So that is all. Go west young man. :)

sore knuckles
I don't have any really good stories for today. Dang. Twins are in a tie game right now. They haven't been doing a lot of winning lately, that angers me. But I know they will come around, I just know it!!
Well that's all I've really got to say for now. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a lot of fun and exciting stories!!!! Until then.....

rainy day
Moving right along, my hands and back are sore from the new job, but I am still just loving it! It is going to be just great, I'm way excited to continue with it. It will be especially nice once I am not waking up at quarter to 4 every morning!!
Anyway, I am really excited for the weekend, it will probably be a good one. Whether it's good or not though, I don't have to wake up early, to me that already makes it great! hahhaha.
So no really funny stories today that I can think of. It was kind of funny when the maintenance guy at the gym told this guy that tomorrow is my last day working, but he only told him that because Greg Cerny (world's hottest guy) was right behind him. It was hilarious, I was trying not to laugh, because it was so obvious to me as to why he was doing that. Greg's response was "awwww" or something of that sort. That would be sweet if he did something cool tomorrow when he came in, like ask me to marry him! hahahahahahahaha. I'm just joking.
But, on a more serious note, I did change my profile picture. The one I have now is kind of an old one, but definitely a classic! It is of me licking the Mississippi River when it was frozen of course. I think it is quite hilarious myself, hopefully you are getting a good giggle out it as well!! It is one of my all time favorites for sure.
Well I think that is all I am going to write for now. I do want to share a great quote from the book I'm reading though. Maybe I will be doing that in just a little while. We'll see!
Until later... :)

and so on...
I just wanted to put that picture up, because I LOVE ALAN JACKSON!!! He is great, last year I went to his concert (with Brooks & Dunn) they were so awesome! It was really one of the best concerts I have been to, and trust me, I have been to A LOT of concerts!Anyhow, my new job went well today! Of course it was just filling out paperwork and doing orientation, but I have a feeling I am going to love it. Possibly go far with it, seems like a great company to be working for (FedEx). Well I will say that I am very tired, long day doing three jobs. It is obvious this week is going to be a tough one, but well worth it! I just cannot stop imaging how nice next week will be and how I only have FOUR days left of waking up before the sun does!!!!!! I AM THRILLED. :)
So, my dad is in California this week...like usual! I guess he will be going there every other weekend until the week of October 21. It has its pros and cons.
Otherwise, I have got a couple of goals set. One of them I will mention the other I would like to not mention yet. The goal I don't mind discussing is that I want to get a tan! I had a pretty slight tan going towards the beginning of summer, then towards July 4th or just shortly after it has been fading, FAST. So I think I will stop in a fake bake salon and buy some tans, sooo unhealthy I know, but its what makes you pretty!! hahahaha.
This weekend is the big IOWA vs Iowa State game, GO HAWKS. I kind of want to go down for it, but most likely I will not. That would probably not be too smart just thinking of how busy and loaded this week is, I will definitely need the weekend to rest--rather than drive 4.5 hrs Friday night, then wake up at about 5-ish for all the fun tailgating festivities (that no other city does better!!!!). So it is all still up for debate. In the meantime, I am watching the Vikings vs Packers game on Monday Night Football. I do not care for either team, but I love Lambeau Field (like it matters). Also, my brother-in-law, Makaala, is a big Packers fan (in case you were wondering...hahaha).
I am pretty excited to be working (kind of) with Morg!!! Its probably like we will be so close, yet oh so far from each other! hahahahahaha. I'm kidding. But really. I don't know the system yet.
And I wish I had a joke to tell right now, maybe someday real soon.
That is pretty much my day in a nutshell! Keep it classy! :)

looksees

Taylor Swift, she's so young and has such amazing song writing skills! Plus I love the dresses she wears...

I think Carrie Underwood is so beautiful!! She has such a great voice, she is so awesome. Really I am dang jealous of her hair, its always gorgeous. hahaha.
That is about all I have got for now. I want to add a few of my cute little cousin. He is about 6 months now I think. My sister and him were up here in July for a couple weeks visiting. He is adorable and so sweet! But that will have to wait for another day. I hope I have plenty of time tomorrow to update you on how the new job went and everything else like that. Stay tuned.... :)

Swindled
The gym was just fine, nothing really productive happened. The girl working at the gym in Richfield and I were sending faxes back and forth this morning, fun pictures and such. That was fun. Then a lot of sitting, talking, doing nothing really happened. Towards the very end of my shift, the maintenance guy held me down while one of the personal trainers who claims to hate me (but I know he loves me more than anyone!) stamped me in the forehead with a "void electronically processed" red stamp! I was not happy, although it was pretty funny. Some guy came in and asked if I had been wearing a football helmet, or if I kept slapping my head saying "oogh, coulda had a V8!" hahahaha. That was funny to me.
Well I am really happy it is Friday! I love Fridays and I think each Friday that comes I love even more than the one before, really. I just cannot get enough of them! It is funny how excited people that come in the gym get over Fridays as well. It is an automatic picker upper, lifts everyone's spirits!
Anyhow, at my other job I did close to NOTHING today. Seriously. I did a couple of very small tasks, then asked and asked and waited and asked and waited and asked if the lady who is supposed to give me things to do had anything for me, she had nothing all day apparently. This is the same lady who is sooo overloaded and doesn't get enough help from anybody, it is starting to look like a self-inflicted issue if you ask me.
So, rather than sit and practice writing my alphabet and bubble letters, I was looking through applicants just to see some of the felony charges and additional information/experience they provided. There were some hilarious things! One guy's additional info/experience said he was a deer hunter who has skinned, gutted, and cut up 10 deer. I could not stop laughing! Another guy said he was a clean person to work with. How nice is that! Thats all it really takes to get a job these days right?!
Well moving along to other, more important, issues, tomorrow Morgan, Rich, and I are going to have a lot of fun!! Touch Screen Game in Hugo, MN better watch out for us! We WILL get those number one spots, no doubt about it! We love those games and are completely addicted. How could you not be though? They are such a blast. I only hope the game doesn't try fooling us in the word search for "things that are brown" and throw "charlie" on the list. If you don't get it, just ask yourself: "Why is charlie, brown??" HAHAHAHA. If you are not laughing, you obviously aren't quick, that or you had to be there! hahaha, whichever!
I think I am done with this post! I will hopefully be adding a real fun one in within the very near future! Maybe some sweet pictures or a video clip? Who knows! Well savor this one..... :)

distraction
Lately I have had this Miranda Lambert song in my head. All I want to do is listen to it over and over and over again! I do not know why this is. The song is called "Me & Charlie Talkin." I love it. Especially right now. Hmmm. Well I love country music in general! I can never get enough of it; I could listen to it all day everyday. That and baseball, just can't get enough of them! One thing about country though, I do not like Jessica Simpson trying to be country, I do not like the Hootie & the Blowfish guy (Darius Rucker) trying to be country, and I do not like a couple of others, but its not important.
On another subject, I am getting rather concerned about the Twins. They have been keeping pace with the White Sox in the race for first in the division, but it seems as though they may be starting to slip a little too much. I am confident they will make it though! I want them to so bad, I think they can do it, they just need to put their umph back into their game. Yes, umph! hahaha. That is what one of my high school basketball coaches told us we needed, so I frequently use the word, if you can classify it as a word. I personally love it!
On the other hand, something I don't love is dealing with nonsense. Some came up today for one of my jobs. Some trend I am seeing lately actually. But the gym's nonsense I can handle and can understand the dilemmas, though my other job I just do not get it and it really frustrates me. I cannot stand some of the things that go on there and why it is allowed, but it is definitely out of my control. Nothing I can do, so I will just grin and bear it--something I am pretty good at doing, lots of practice. I love smiling, even when it's the hardest thing to do, it really helps. There are so many things a person can mean by smiling, so many things one can hide behind a smile, it really is just a beautiful thing.
Well I'm craving Chipotle right about now. Goodness. I will most likely just eat a salad instead, which is also pretty delicious, but not even close to the delight one of those burritos would bring! No doubt about that.
Until next time.... :)

Counting Down
I am happy that it is already Wednesday though. These short weeks really mess me up, it seems like the days go slow but the week goes fast. I get so thrown off by it, but love it as well. Also, tomorrow night I am excited that one of my very best friends, Morgan and I are planning some shenanagans. Well, probably just a lot of touch screen games, YES! I really love playing touch screen (I think the real name for it is MegaTouch, but you get the idea).
I have had a slight headache today, that is NO fun, but I am managing. It really feels like fall today, something I am definitely not ready for!! I wish summer lasted about 10 months, then a short fall, verrry short winter, and a short spring. Sounds like a good deal to me.
Well good news, my hair felt extremely soft today. The reason behind it...I have no clue! But it would be nice to know. Not that my hair doesn't always feel rather soft, but today I noticed it was extra smooth and sleek.
I am hoping for an exciting weekend, doing who knows what! That is all I am focused on for now.
This posting is definitely not my best, but hopefully tomorrow brings more things to excite! Until then... :)

Long Weekend
Alright what a fun weekend! I love when weekends are THREE days long, not just two! It is so nice. So what did I do this weekend? Well Friday night my dad and I went out to the Mall of America because I wanted to go to the Bebe store. I didn't find anything to buy there this trip, but instead I found some sweet tanks at PacSun that I nabbed up. Other than that, it was fun seeing the new Best Buy that is now there, along with the new Chipotle they put in (although my dad and I are convinced its a fake chipotle because they do not have the picture of the original Chipotle in it!! that's madness). After getting back home, Sam came into town. That was a lot of fun.
Saturday we went to Southdale center and looked around there for awhile. Nothing too great there. Then we went home and rested awhile. Later that evening we went on down to Mystic Lake. Oh what fun! Although, I did not win any money, it was still a lot of fun, like always. One of these days I'm going to go to cosmic bingo, I've just got to!
Sunday we went to the Renaissance Festival. Boy was that interesting!! It was a little crazy, so full of weirdos and strange people dressed up in all sorts of costumes and such. It was interesting, a pretty big place, lots of weird things for purchase (most of it did not appeal to me!). Anyhow, it was something to do to say the least.
Today (Monday), my dad and I went down to St Paul to check out the activities going on out on the streets due to the Republican National Convention. It was interesting! There were A LOT of cops everywhere, a lot of delegates walking around, weird press people, and a huge mess of hippy freak smelly protestors. We stopped and ate at the famous Mickeys dining car, which turned out to be a perfect place in order to watch a protestor march walk by. The video is right here:
Something you don't see everyday! I really really really just wanted to hand out some deodorant to those people, they smelled very bad. The cops on the other hand were kind of neat, the horses had gas masks, the bike cops had gas masks, they really had things under control, which is good.
Well I guess those are most of the highlights that are worth talking about from my weekend! Until later.... :)
