It has been way too long! I apologize. Also, this blog is probably going to be a bore. But I just wonder who comes up with those astrology things and horoscopes. How do they come up with it? That might be a better question. Anyhow, I was reading this article that is supposed to be about Capricorns (which is what sign I fall under), sometimes it is just entertaining to read this stuff. But honestly, how can you take it serious? Well, here is the article, maybe it does describe me, maybe it doesn't!

Capricorn Fun Facts
When it comes to professionalism and traditional values, Capricorn wins hands-down. This practical sign loves to tackle life in the most conventional of ways, leaving no stone unturned. Considered the most serious-minded of the signs, the Capricorn possesses an independence that allows for considerable progress both personally and on the job.
Friends and Family
Combining a strong wit and a love of humor, the Capricorn makes terrific company for those they choose as friends. They will surround themselves with people who are honest, loyal, and like-minded when it comes to working values. They cherish loved ones and will go any distance to help a friend or family member. Traditional by nature, the Capricorn loves nothing more than holidays, such as Christmas, that bring people together with a variety of activities. Although a Capricorn isn't apt to have a large social circle, those included in this sign's life will find someone who is steadfast and true. Emotional displays are not common for a Capricorn. They would rather show how they feel through deeds than expression with words.
Career and Money
Ambition is the key word for this sign. The key phrase for Capricorn is I use. The Capricorn possesses a real knack for finding the right tool for the job and getting down to it. Starting at the bottom of the ladder and working their way to the top doesn't scare the Capricorn off. They will go the distance once a goal is set. In addition to setting high standards for themselves, honesty, perseverance, and a dedication to duty make the Capricorn an excellent manager. Loyalty and a willingness to work as hard as necessary are qualities that this sign values greatly within themselves and in those around them. Careers in management, finance, teaching, and real estate are excellent choices.
Capricorns are resourceful and manage their time and money well. Every now and then, the urge to spend some hard-earned cash can see this sign packing some large shopping bags with fun and frivolous items out of the store. But as a rule, caution goes hand in hand with the Capricorn making practical purchases more likely than anything else. Multifunctional items are definitely favored.
Love and Sex
The Capricorn is most often a serious lover, preferring to take things slow and steady. You won't see this sign jumping into anything head-first. Taking relationships one step at a time is the way of the Capricorn. Words can be few with this personality, yet actions speak volumes. The Capricorn values deeds and will go to great lengths to express their affections through them. They're great gift givers and don't bat an eye at the cost of spending a fantastic night out. Genuine and sincere, you can take what few words a Capricorn does say to the bank.

let it out

Well, it has been quite some time since my last post!! I guess I'm just not the ultimate blogger I've always wanted to be. Hahaha. What a dream, blogger. It really isn't mine, but I do often find myself in deep thought or just thinking and thinking and then the thought "oh I should write a blog and put this all down for people to read, or just to be put on "paper"," yet, I never do it. So I guess we can all blame me for that loss. All of those IMPORTANT thoughts, practically lost into thin air.

Anyhow, this blog won't contain any pictures. I know you've just become very saddened, perhaps even maddened, but I urge you to just hold on and wait for the pictures to come! I have quite a few, some from a very delightful concert I attended just last weekend! It was a great one: Martina McBride and Trace Adkins. I LOVE Martina McBride!! She has such an amazing voice and I found myself in awe most of the show! She is such a neat person to watch perform. You can tell she really puts her heart into it. Well, just wait for those photogs, which I promise will be arriving on here shortly!

Another thing that has been really enjoyable lately is my sweet sweet handsome amazing boyfriend. I love spending time with him and we find ourselves laughing and smiling almost the whole time we're together. I am extremely thankful to have him and I just can't get enough. Such a blessing.

On another subject, this time of year is usually a brutal, cold, white blur here in Minnesota. However, we have yet to get to winter I guess. I could not be more thrilled to be saying this though. If our whole winter lasted without giving us that nasty below zero temps and tons of snow dumping on us, I would be the absolute happiest girl in the whole world. There would be no debating this!!! BUT, I don't see that happening, so I'll just be the happiest girl just for now anyway! Also, without having the weather, it just doesn't feel like Christmas is right around the corner!! Thanksgiving snuck up like Casper the ghost! I now have to focus on getting presents for people, ah, I hate shopping this time of year. When stores are busy I just want to slap all the crazies that just go nuts! But I guess it has to be done! If only I knew what to get as gifts though...

Well it appears as though I've begun rambling, so that means I should probably just quit! Sometimes I just really love talking and as I learned in my Stress Management class in college (yeah, I got credit for a class called stress management, I actually think they should probably require every single college student ever to take this class), anyhow, in class we learned it can really help release some stress just to write things down. I'm not hinting at being stressed, because I really don't feel I am right now, but I guess it is a good thing to write sometimes.

And with all of that being said, just keep waiting, patiently as possible, for pictures and more fun to come soon!!! :) Until another day.

The Day of MLB

The big day came and went!!! Morgan Leigh Hesler is a whole new lady named Morgan L. Bauer. It was a very successful day! One might have called it, The Sweetest Day. :) Anyhow, the ceremony was probably the shortest of any I've ever heard of in a church, TWELVE short, quick, fast, little, tiny minutes!!! What a fun day it was though! I have pictures, although they are all out of order on here! Not a big deal though!

Here are a few of the bridesmaid dresses, along with the brides last dress she'll ever wear again...kidding. :)

The beautiful bride and her little nephew, who fell fast asleep in the limo ride! Big day for the little guy!! Precious.

This is me and one of my verrrrry favorite people, my daughter and friend, Yessica. :)

This picture is just TOO ADORABLE!!! The most gorgeous little flower girl with the extravagant bride, with Richard playing peek-a-boo, all in the limo. So cute.

Three of the bridesmaids with our sunglasses that were a gift from our favorite, Morg. :)

My little Yessica, myself, and Tob. So happy. Pretty people.

This is what we call 3 parts, one heart. Lookin snazzy before the big walk down the aisle!!! <3 this picture!!!

My best friend Morgan and I. Smiling. Happy. Pretty. Excited. Thrilled. Etc. :) Too many words for this one.
So, that is just a little glimpse into the big day that was October 17th, 2009. Now Morgan and her husband are off in Hawaii on their honeymoon. I'm left to the wolves, freezing my buns off, in the great white north, aka Meeny-snow-tah. However I am happy to see one of my best friends be so happy and right where she wants to be in the journey of life.
And to answer the most important question: NO, I did NOT catch the bouquet!!! :) I've found quite the little trick that works quite nicely. Don't worry, my day and time will come, just right when it's supposed.
Other than that, LIFE IS GREAT!!!!! Until another day...... :)

Something To Talk About

FINALLY! I uploaded some pictures from the Great Minnesota Get Together, or what normal people call, The Minnesota State Fair. Well, my experience at the fair was not well documented through photographs, but the concerts I went to at the fair were. So here is what I've got:

The BonTag Roulet concert which featured Taj Majhal and BONNIE RAITT! It was a pretty great concert, however, I did not get very many great pictures from it. So here is one:

Bon Bon
Next picture is of some cows. I like going through the cow barn and I like touching the cows, but I'm always afraid they are going to kick me. So far, they have a clean record of not doing so.

The next concert was RANDY TRAVIS, with JOE NICHOLS as an opening act! I LOVED it!!!!
Joe Nichols
Joe Nichols getting into it
Joe Nichols
And Joe Nichols!!
Now, the living legend himself.....
RANDY TRAVIS!!!!
RANDY TRAVIS!!!!!
RANDY TRAVIS!!!!!
AND RANDY TRAVIS!!!!!
And at 10:30pm, they shoot off fireworks. How pretty.
That's all I got for this round of blogging, but I've got some other nice pictures and things for the next time. So look forward to that soon. :)

BOGEY

Well, last Wednesday, the twelfth of August in the year of two thousand and nine, my dear friend Morgan and I volunteered, also spectated, at the 91st PGA. It was so neat!! I love love loved the experience!! We saw quite a few golfers and got a few autographs. The course, Hazeltine, is very beautiful. We did not get to see Tiger Woods, however, we DID see Y.E. Yang, who won it all!!

Here are some pictures I was able to capture:

This is me, obviously, posing with PGA logo on fence!

This was my favorite golfer, Nick Dougherty. He was so nice!!

Nick D. signing autographs.

Morgan and I posing by the course map. Cool outfits.

This is the one and only, Geoff Ogilvy.

Vijay Singh!!!! Signing autographs. Go Fiji.

The champion himself, Y.E. Yang!! (On the left, in such a cute/fashionable outfit!) Bright.

British's own, LUKE DONALD.

The young and quite nice, Anthony Kim! We got his autograph. I also told him I liked his shirt, he said "Thank you! Very much!" Sincerely. hahaha.
And that wraps up this posting session! I loved the time well spent with Morgan. It was a beautiful day, and now I am slightly thinking I could be a small fan of golf! Crazy, I know, but we'll see what happens. Until later!! :)

Photogs!!!

So, I got a new camera (as mentioned before I believe!!). So far, I absolutely LOVE it! I haven't had many events or things that I need to be capturing photogs of, but I snapped a few here and there and these are them:

St. Paul, MN (from across the Mississippi River)

Flowers! From the Como Zoo & Conservatory

Again, Como's beautiful flowers

Yet again, flowers! My dad says "that would be a great background photo!" (hint hint--in case your desktop needs something new and fresh! haha)

The BEAUTIFUL (and TASTY) German Chocolate Cake I made for our intern's last day of work

Some pretty rocks from Taylors Falls, WI. They are down in a "pothole" which was created by glaciers moving (something of that sort).

Elvis is alive and well, scarfing a lady at the Mall of America. (okay, he's a pretend Elvis who won the competition of Elvis impersonators)

And last, but not least, SCRUMPTIOUS truffles!!! I made them, took them to work, they were gobbled down in a flash! What a hit. Thanks Bakerella (and more importantly Natashka Barashka!!) for enlightening my life with these dangerous little goodies!!!
Those are all the pictures I'm sharing for now! I should have some more good ones coming up soon, because this month is going to be a BUSY one!!!! Seriously busy--I will be out at the PGA the day after tomorrow (Wednesday) watching Tiger, Padraig, Phil, and the boys, Iowa next weekend for tubing down a river, Meredith & Ron are getting married the following weekend, the 27th Bonnie Raitt Concert (and the start of the Minnesota State Fair!!!), and September 2nd--Randy Travis Concert!!
Pretty long list of FUN for the upcoming weeks! So look forward to that.
Until then.... :)
