No Such Thing as TOO MUCH FUN!

WHAT a busy weekend!!! More busy than I ever expected it would be! My dad left for vacation today, to Las Vegas, for a week. Lucky him! But yesterday (Saturday) I think he wanted to fit in as much fun here in the Great White North before he headed out to fun in the hot hot desert sun.

So what all did we do??
Well, to start the day of, we went to IHOP and ate breakfast. I was starving so it was pretty delicious. I had the "Quick Two Egg Breakfast" which was 2 eggs (over easy), 2 slices toast, bacon, and hash browns. Very tasty.

Next, we went to the Mall of America. I stopped in the MAC makeup store to look for one of my favorite colors of their pigment, but they apparently didn't have it. So they signed me up for some event on Aug 21st, we'll see if I make it. Also, we stopped in Franklin Covey, my dad got a refill for his "brain" (which is what I call his daily planner), I got a magnetic bulletin strip along with a pen that is really neat. Oh, there was a Spongebob Squarepants Party going on!! I overheard some lady say "oh Spongebob Squarepants? I think that's that pizza place...." Ah how hilarious!!!! Well, I ended up buying a pair of gorgeous heels that I am really excited about and a BEAUTIFUL purse that was just SCREAMING Jules!!! I LOVE LOVE LoVE it!!!!

After the Mall of America, my dad and I then went on to another mall! They were having some sort of "junk convention" (which was actually just a bunch of old people with lots of tables set up with TONS of antiques on them they were selling really cheap! We walked around this mall for quite some time, the only purchase was my dad's dollar he spent on some weird tourist type coins from Arizona and Colorado.

Once we left the second mall, we headed to Treasure Island for some BOWLING! It was a lot of fun. I love their bowling alley. I ended up losing 3 games, but I did win ONE! I also broke 100 one game, and can say I ALMOST won 2 games (lost the last one by 2 pins!!). It was great.

After bowling, we were hungry and ate buffet. It was delicious but a lot of food in a short time. I don't know why I feel the need to eat buffets at the highest speed possible.

Then, we went to the new Harry Potter film!!! I liked it. My dad is neutral on it, only because he says they left him standing in the dark, he expected something to happen with the phoenix flying away at the end or something. But anyhow, great movie.

Anyhow, it was a very fun day!!

Also this weekend, I broke down and bought a new digital camera!!! I love it so far! This is what one I got:
It is a Sony Cybershot DSC-S980. I think it's a great one.

Well other than that, the weekend is just about over, my dad is en route to Vegas, and I will be back to work tomorrow. Ah the joys of "real life." :) Until later...

an apple a day

Well, I am pretty much in shock that it is already about the MIDDLE OF JULY!!!!! I hate when summer FLIES by! It is too much fun, really it is. Well not TOO much fun, because "there's no such thing," but it's pretty darn close to that.

Anyhow, I just got done watching The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. They had the most bizarre musical guest on there, "Hair." I can honestly say I don't think I liked them, AT ALL. :)

Other than that, I haven't been up to a whole lot, just working my life away and trying to enjoy all the time I have to myself when I'm NOT working.

And this one is short but sweet! I will leave with one of my F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E pictures ever, with some picniked touches to it! I LOVE it! L-O-V-E!!! Until next time....

Also, I'm very excited for the newest Harry Potter film to come out this week!!!!!! :)

It's Satchel Paige

So the past month has been fairly busy, which is EXACTLY how summer should be!! I love summer. I really love it A LOT actually!! I like hot weather, baseball, hot dogs, sunshine, water, and just how people are usually more happy and peppy. Life is just great.

Well, the main thing I've been doing with my spare time is enjoying baseball! I love baseball and just can't seem to get enough.

For my dad's birthday I bought tickets to the Brewers vs. Giants, at Miller Park in Milwaukee. I LOVE this stadium. I think of all the stadiums I have been too so far, it is my favorite.
They have a SLIDE in the outfield, when the home team hits a home run, a mascot slides down it!!! LOVE it!!! Corey Hart. I am a fan. His at bat song, Alan Jackon's "Country Boy."
I know what you're thinking "what is Edward Cullen's dad doing at a baseball game?!?!" hahaha. Well, it's actually a lady, who maybe doesn't own a mirror.
Just a shot of the view from our seats.
Well, for the Fourth of Julie(July), my dad and I went down to Kansas City to meet my brother and sister-in-law for a Royals vs. White Sox game. It was a lot of fun!
The fountains in the outfield. I would have loved to run through them.
The Royals' jumbo-tron, its big, its nice. The Twins' new one will be bigger, and nicer. :) But it was great.
Our view. Not too bad at all!
Morgan was there!! Us prior to the start of the game.
That's just a glimpse of the fun. If I could figure out how to upload some videos I have on my phone, everyone would enjoy a great laugh. At the Royals game, we had THE ultimate Royals Fan directly in front of us. He was insane, it was great!!
After the Royals game, we went to Riverfest in Kansas City. It was a really fun time. The videos I have from that are of a 60 or so year old man dancing his booty off. It was totally nuts. The old man would not stop! As soon as I get those videos on my computer, I promise I'll share! :)
So that's what I have been doing. Enjoying life really. I love it. I just hope summer and fun doesn't just fly by, but that tends to be how it goes. Well, until next time! :)

long time gone

Well, LOOKS like I've become a lame "blogger." Just about one a month.
Well THAT has got to CHANGE!!
I promise it will.

This week I will make a fun blog with pictures of my fun adventures! Including:
Milwaukee Brewers game in Milwaukee.
Kansas City Royals game in Kansas City. Along with the 4th in Kansas City.
And who knows what else!

Until then, please be patient!! :)
